The Shanley–Sacred Heart Trap Shooting Team competes in the USA and North Dakota High School Clay Target League, with fall and spring seasons, weekly competitions, and a state tournament. Students must complete Hunter Education certification to participate.

Angels Hockey
The Fargo Angels Hockey Club promotes and develops youth hockey opportunities for students within the St. John Paul II Catholic Schools system and its cooperative partner schools, helping athletes grow both on and off the ice.
Deacon Flames
Deacon Flames supports junior volleyball, youth basketball, and junior fastpitch softball for JPII families and friends. As a nonprofit organization, it provides opportunities for young athletes to develop their skills in a positive and competitive environment.
Deacon Wings
The Deacon Wings Training Club helps young athletes build skills, fitness, and character through track and field and cross-country training. The program focuses on athletic development while fostering virtues that extend beyond competition.
